This role involves managing stock levels monitoring usage placing orders and ensuring smooth flow of materials in and out of the store.

- Overseeing and managing all stock control and inventory procedures ensuring accurate stock levels at all times.
- Conducting regular physical stock counts and reconciling discrepancies promptly.
- Implementing and maintaining effective inventory tracking systems.
- Preparing comprehensive stock reports for management highlighting variances and recommending improvements.
- Managing the receipt storage and dispatch of goods efficiently and according to company standards.
- Working closely with procurement and sales teams to anticipate stock needs and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Ensuring the warehouse and stock holding areas are organized and comply with safety regulations.
Key skills:
- Proven experience in stock control or inventory management.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage stock efficiently.
Qualifications
- A relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience in a Stock Controller or Inventory Management role.
- Experience in the hardware or retail environment would be an added advantage.
