Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly capable and dedicated Stock Controller to join their dynamic team in Bulawayo.

This role involves managing stock levels monitoring usage placing orders and ensuring smooth flow of materials in and out of the store.

Salary & Benefits:

USD 800

Responsibilities:

Overseeing and managing all stock control and inventory procedures ensuring accurate stock levels at all times.
Conducting regular physical stock counts and reconciling discrepancies promptly.
Implementing and maintaining effective inventory tracking systems.
Preparing comprehensive stock reports for management highlighting variances and recommending improvements.
Managing the receipt storage and dispatch of goods efficiently and according to company standards.
Working closely with procurement and sales teams to anticipate stock needs and prevent shortages or overstocking.
Ensuring the warehouse and stock holding areas are organized and comply with safety regulations.

Key skills:

Proven experience in stock control or inventory management.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organisational and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage stock efficiently.

Qualifications

A relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of proven experience in a Stock Controller or Inventory Management role.
Experience in the hardware or retail environment would be an added advantage.
