Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Stocks Accountant with 5 8 years hands on experience managing stock inventory controls and reconciliation processes in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and account for all stock movements from receiving to dispatch.
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/stock management systems.
- Perform daily weekly and monthly stock reconciliations.
- Investigate variances and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor stock levels ageing shrinkage and write offs.
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with stock procedures.
- Work closely with production warehouse and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting.
- Prepare stock reports for management including costing and valuation.
- Oversee cycle counts and full stock takes.
- Ensure proper documentation for all stock transactions.
Key Skills:
- 5 8 years experience in stock accounting inventory control or related roles.
- Strong understanding of stock processes costing and reconciliation.
- Proficiency with stock management software/ERP systems (e.g. Sage SAP Pastel or similar).
- Solid knowledge of internal controls and audit requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- High level of accuracy integrity and accountability.
- Experience in manufacturing FMCG or distribution is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting
