Job Summary

Lead the design installation and commissioning of electrical systems for data centers telecom towers and renewable energy integration projects.
Supervise and mentor junior electrical engineers and technicians ensuring technical excellence and adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct regular inspections performance assessments and preventive maintenance of electrical infrastructure to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with project managers contractors and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of electrical works.
Develop and maintain detailed electrical schematics technical documentation and asset registers.
Ensure compliance with local regulations international standards (e.g. IEC IEEE) and company safety policies.
Analyze energy consumption data and recommend improvements for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
Support the implementation of smart grid technologies and renewable energy solutions within the regional infrastructure.
Participate in incident investigations and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Prepare technical reports budgets and progress updates for senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g. PE CEng) is highly desirable.
25 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering within technology telecommunications or infrastructure development sectors.
Proven experience in managing electrical systems for data centers substations or industrial facilities in challenging environments.
Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical ETAP SKM) and power distribution systems.
Familiarity with renewable energy integration battery storage systems and backup power solutions (e.g. diesel generators UPS).
Demonstrated ability to lead teams manage contractors and work under pressure in remote or high-risk locations.
Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
