- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts for the Central Africa branch.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring timely processing and accurate recording of transactions.
- Monitor and control branch expenditures identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring budget adherence.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing timely accurate and well-documented financial records.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to standardize accounting practices and improve financial reporting efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts providing data-driven insights for operational planning.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 25 years of progressive experience in accounting preferably within a technology or multinational organization.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of local and international accounting standards (IFRS or GAAP).
- Experience with tax compliance and reporting in Central African jurisdictions.
- Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
