Job Summary

Lead and mentor a team of technology professionals across Central Africa ensuring high performance and professional development.
Partner with regional and global leadership to develop and execute technology strategies tailored to Central African markets.
Oversee the implementation maintenance and optimization of enterprise technology systems and digital platforms.
Manage project lifecycles from planning through delivery ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards.
Serve as a key liaison between technical teams business units and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
Monitor technology trends and emerging innovations to assess their potential impact and applicability in the region.
Ensure compliance with data security privacy regulations and industry standards across all technology operations.
Provide regular performance reports and strategic insights to senior leadership on regional technology performance and market opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
25 years of progressive experience in technology management operations or project leadership within a multinational or high-growth organization.
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex technology projects in emerging markets.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure cybersecurity frameworks and enterprise software systems.
Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills with fluency in English and local languages (e.g. French Swahili) highly advantageous.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Jira Asana Microsoft Project) and data analytics platforms.
Experience with agile and DevOps methodologies in fast-paced environments.
