Job Summary

Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on data center equipment including HVAC systems UPS generators and power distribution units.
Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across network infrastructure server racks and telecommunications hardware.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and service plans to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities repairs spare parts usage and system performance metrics.
Collaborate with IT facilities and operations teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to services.
Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with local and international technical and environmental regulations.
Lead or support the installation testing and commissioning of new technology systems and upgrades.
Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices safety protocols and maintenance procedures.
Respond promptly to emergency outages and service disruptions implementing rapid recovery solutions.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
25 years of hands-on experience in maintenance engineering within a technology data center or industrial environment.
Proven experience with HVAC systems electrical power systems UPS and generator maintenance.
Strong knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and asset tracking software.
Familiarity with network infrastructure components (routers switches fiber optics) and server hardware.
Certification in electrical safety (e.g. OSHA NFPA 70E) HVAC or related technical fields is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and in team environments with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
