- Develop an overall Accounting & Finance Strategy that aligns with the organisations overall objectives and strategy.
- Providing financial strategic insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
- Enforce adherence to both departmental and organizational financial goals and strategies for business growth.
- Develop the company audit plan and ensure its implementation in line with the organisation growth & Working Capital Management.
- Oversight of budgeting processes and long-term financial forecasting.
- Foreign Exchange Risk Management to monitor exposure
- Cash Flow Forecasting & Liquidity Management
- Capital Structuring & Debt Management
- Tax planning & Customs Management
- Oversight of Capital Expenditure Planning and ROI Modelling
- Manage cash receipting movement banking and application.
- Manage accounts receivable credit control age analysis and debt collection.
- Lead Manage and be accountable for the group financial accounting and reporting.
- Ensuring the accuracy completeness and transparency of the companys financial statements and disclosures in line with international financial reporting standards.
- Review of Accounting & Financial Reporting policies and processes to ensure compliance with them in line with the overall departmental objectives.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 10 years experience in Accounting & leading a Finance department
- 10 years experience in Treasury Financial Reporting and Planning
Qualifications:
- Degree in Financial Accounting & Professional Qualification
- Fully qualified Chartred Accountant (ICAZ)
