Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Production Support
We are looking for a skilled Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in C# .NET Framework 4.5 and application support in a highavailability environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring troubleshooting and ensuring smooth operations of businesscritical applications while collaborating closely with development QA and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 production support for applications built on C# Framework 4.5.
Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve application incidents bugs and performance issues.
Monitor application health logs jobs and integrations using tools like Windows Event Viewer IIS logs SQL logs etc.
Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement longterm fixes.
Support build and deployment activities in Dev QA UAT and Production environments.
Collaborate with developers to identify code-level issues and propose patches/hotfixes.
Work with DB teams to debug SQL queries stored procedures and data inconsistencies.
Create and maintain documentation support guides and knowledgebase articles.
Ensure adherence to SLA timelines escalation procedures and incident management processes.
Participate in 24x7 oncall rotation weekend deployments and maintenance windows when required.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle critical incidents calmly.
Excellent communication skills for working with crossfunctional teams.
Strong sense of ownership accountability and customer focus.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong programming/debugging skills in C# .NET Framework 4.5 and OOP concepts.
Good understanding of WebForms / MVC / Web API (as applicable).
Hands-on experience with IIS application pools and web application hosting.
Solid skills in SQL Server (queries joins stored procedures triggers indexing).
Experience with log monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk ELK AppInsights or similar).
Familiarity with Windows Services scheduled jobs and batch process debugging.
Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs integration troubleshooting and network flows.
Knowledge of version control systems (TFS/Git) CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
Basic understanding of message queues (MSMQ/Service Bus) is a plus.
