The Role

• Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4 with potential KS5 depending on experience

• Planning and delivering engaging well-structured practical and theory-based lessons

• Supporting pupils with coursework NEA and examination preparation

• Promoting high standards of hygiene organisation and health & safety

• Encouraging creativity confidence and independence in practical sessions

• Monitoring pupil progress and using assessment effectively to raise attainment

• Contributing to wider DT initiatives and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in Food Technology Hospitality Nutrition or a related subject

• Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level

• Strong subject knowledge and confident practical classroom delivery

• High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress

• A professional organised and positive teaching approach
