The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 expected
Delivering rigorous and engaging lessons across performance composition and listening
Preparing pupils for GCSE and A Level examinations with strong outcomes
Leading or supporting ensembles orchestras choirs and extracurricular provision
Contributing to high-profile concerts and whole-school productions
Monitoring attainment and implementing targeted strategies to secure excellent results
Supporting curriculum innovation and departmental strategic planning
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or a closely related discipline
Experience teaching Music at secondary level including KS5
Strong instrumental or vocal expertise
A track record of securing strong examination outcomes
High expectations for pupil achievement and musical excellence
Excellent organisational and communication skills
