The Role
Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Delivering structured and engaging lessons across practical and theoretical components
Supporting pupils with NEA development and portfolio preparation
Promoting high standards of workshop practice and technical accuracy
Monitoring attainment and implementing intervention strategies
Contributing to curriculum innovation and quality assurance processes
Participating in enrichment opportunities and STEM initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Design & Technology or related subject
Experience teaching secondary DT including examination groups
Strong classroom and workshop management skills
A commitment to securing high academic outcomes
A reflective and forward-thinking teaching approach
