The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering structured and engaging lessons across performance and composition
Supporting pupils with coursework practical assessments and listening examinations
Leading choirs ensembles or instrumental groups
Supporting whole-school productions and musical showcases
Monitoring pupil attainment and implementing strategies to raise standards
Contributing to enrichment initiatives and community engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or related discipline
Experience teaching Music at secondary level
Strong practical musicianship and rehearsal leadership skills
A commitment to promoting creativity and pupil confidence
Excellent organisational and communication skills
