The Opportunity
This position for our Established Pharmaceutical Division in the WESTERN CAPE where we are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the worlds fastest-growing countries. Our broadportfolioof high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology womens health cardiometabolicpain management/central nervous system and respiratory.
WhatYoullDo:
Designappropriate strategyto achieve sales goals and targets in assignedterritory;
Achievement of sales market share and growthobjectivesin theregion;
Maintain satisfactory customer call rate strike rate and territorycoverage;
Compile and update sales operating plan forregion;
Identifynew businessopportunities;
Attend cycle meetings andconferences;
Negotiateadditionaldisplay areas and space in line with marketingobjectives to accentuate thebrand buildingactivities.
Build and maintain business relationships in-store / in practice with all personnel who have an impact upon the companys business.
Accurately take stock in-storeutilizingcustomer stock cards use as a tool in negotiating the order.
Build impactful and appealingdis-playstoassistthe pharmacy to move-through stock.
Assistwithmerchandising: Ensure stock is well presented Packed and available to the consumer FIFO principle.
Detail and train staff in-store inclusive of All Healthcare Professionals.
Required Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in HumanSciences/Marketing/BusinessManagementpreferred.
Preference experience:
3 years ofpharmacy salesexperience ismandatory.
Experience and established pharmacy relationships essential.
Fluent in English
Strong salestrack record soundorganizational skillsandtime managementskill
Historyof superior territory coverage in the Western Cape will be an advantage.
Positive with a can-do attitude.
Integrity initiative and adaptability.
Entrepreneurial spirit.
Skilled negotiator problem solver and closer.
Ability to develop long-term business relationships.
Good communicator and self-motivated
Business planningacumen and ability.
