Role Overview
To actively source new business within sporting environment for all environments within the division focused on Youth environment. To achieve set divisional sales targets and effectively increase revenue for each environment. To effectively propose and convert business selling services of Pure Travel Youth environment as per the sales strategy.

- Minimum 3 5 years experience in sales within the Tourism Industry Inbound & Outbound
- Competency
- Experience on ZOHO would be an advantage
- Previous knowledge of school environment a MUST
- Experience on Tourplan essential
Responsibilities
Strategy:
- Execute the TDM Sport and Events sales strategy as part of the company business plan under the guidance of GM Sales
- Focus and identify areas of opportunity within Pure Travel Youth environment both inbound to South Africa and outbound.
- Identify and communicate areas of opportunity to increase market penetration and entrench existing customers
- Ensure sales projects and initiatives are sized and prioritized appropriately through planning
- Respond quickly to new demands priorities or changes within the Youth market
- Keep abreast of changes in industry and adjust strategies accordingly
Client Relationships:
- To ensure client expectations are met and the highest delivery of service is driven through the business
- To assist with best price and product offering to client
- To continually look at creative ideas and review products which are offered to clients.
- To build and retain relationships with clients
- Establish and maintain good relationships with all clients globally
- To always ensure effective communication with clients.
- To ensure that all correspondence documentation proposals presentations are delivered accurately and timeously
- To follow-up with clients and leads
- Effectively implement CRM campaign considering ROI
- Establish reason for decline on proposals and evaluate possible learnings
Business Communication:
- Ensure all business units (incl. operations) are regularly informed about sales activities and achievements
- Provide consistent direction to all in the sales division to ensure seamless business performance
- Facilitate sales issues pertaining to operations or other departments and ensure resolutions are solution driven
Administration:
- Full understanding and follow-through of all divisional procedures and policies
- Submit timeous reports as requested and adhere to deadlines
- Maintain complete confidentiality with all company intellectual capital
- To ensure divisional strategies are followed
- Prepare sales budgets spend and manage
- Full management and use of ZOHO and CRM system as prescribed
Sales Targets:
- Source identify and obtain new local and international business within the Youth environment
- Generate leads from existing and new clientele within the identified markets
- Monitor client achievements and turnover figures versus past performance
- To ensure that the required sales calls are made weekly
- To follow-up with clients on a continual basis with regards to current and future business
- Collaborate on tenders bid-proposals and presentations to secure new business
- Present TDM Sports and Leisure brands in a professional manner at all times and protect branding integrity
- Competitor Analysis: always keep abreast with pricing in the market place and feedback so as to ensure division remains competitive
Database:
- Ensure our database is managed updated and developed continuously in order to grow the database (Zoho / CRM System) whilst maintaining confidentiality
Team Work:
- To build and maintain good relationships within the team.
- Actively contribute to the closing gaps between biz units.
- Manage expenses and training needs
- Effectively follow best practice policies and procedures.
- Build relationships and support all business units within the division
- Pro-actively get involved.
- Assist in areas of expertise.
- Flexibility to assist colleagues out of normal office hours when and if required.
- Travelling with a group or client may be required.
Supplier Relationships:
- Recommend and understand supplier products
