To succeed as a Full-Time Residential Supervisor in the MH Regional Supervised Housing Program candidates must possess a Bachelors Degree in Human Services such as Social Work Psychology Sociology or Counseling along with two years of experience in service collaboration coordination and psychoeducation. Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise and train staff are essential as is having at least three years of practice as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with registration from the Board of Counseling. Familiarity with therapeutic techniques and a commitment to empowering individuals with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders will be crucial. Additionally candidates should have a Valid Virginia drivers license to facilitate client engagement and program participation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy strong communication abilities and a dedication to fostering independence in clients while maintaining a high standard of care within a supportive team environment.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Bachelors Degree in Human Services such as Social Work Psychology Sociology or Counseling
• Two (2) years of experience providing service collaboration coordination and psychoeducation services. Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must be registered with the Board of Counseling as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) have a minimum of three (3) years of practice and meet eligibility requirements to serve as a QMHP Supervisor.
• Valid Virginia drivers license.
