Job Summary

We have a great opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor in Kermit TX

We are a leading solutions provider to the energy industry. Our portfolio of offerings includes oilfield logistics distributed power systems and the largest proppant supply network in the Permian Basin. With a focus on leveraging technology automation and remote operations to enhance efficiencies.

As an Electrical Supervisor you will play a crucial part in all electrical aspects of building and maintaining our 42-mile Dune Express conveyor system. The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for adhering to all OSHA and MSHA standards while performing all job duties.

Responsibilities

Lead your team in safety complying with OSHA MSHA and company policies and procedures.
Work with outside Engineering firms to design new electrical equipment.
Travel to various vendor locations and for audits and meetings. This will be more so during the design and construction phase.
Review understand redline and update electrical schematics drawings one lines e-houses layouts
Lead a team of field electricians on day-to-day task such as inspections PMs trouble shooting reporting
Review and approve time sheets vacation request POs and invoices.
Attend training and certification courses required by the company.
Developing maintaining and reporting on budgets both for OPEX and CAPEX
Engaging with third party vendors for quotes and lead times
Comply with OSHA and MSHA standards and annual testing on electrical equipment.
In conjunction with senior supervision may plan staff and organize field/shop positions.
Interacts with project management engineering estimating and planning to ensure work complies with contract requirements drawings specifications and schedule.
Responsible for resolving direct report s issues (lack of productivity safety quality work interfaces rework) as required.
Assist in obtaining personnel through Human Resources/Recruiting or network (as necessary).
Assess work completion. Create punch lists.
Advise senior level supervision of potential problems work interference schedule difficulties. Assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Journeyman Electrical License with minimum 5 years industrial experience
Minimum 5 years field leadership in industrial electrical

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
Required to stand; walk; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl sit and climb or balance
Must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Capable of working Monday through Friday 6:00 am 6:00 pm
Room and board provided at or near the location of the job
Must be able to tolerate working conditions associated with no air conditioning or heat
