The Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) is driven by a mission to protect communities while supporting youth rehabilitation through safe effective and accountable operations. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Program Specialist B to manage the full scope of business office functions for a secure care facility.

In this dynamic role you will oversee financial processing procurement inventory petty cash and reporting while serving as the primary liaison for purchasing and fiscal matters. Youll support campus-wide operations by ensuring accurate documentation audit readiness vendor coordination and compliance with state and agency policies.

Minimum Qualifications

Four years of experience in administrative services; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR

A bachelors degree plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR

An advanced degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Manage business office financial procurement and inventory functions.

  • Process purchasing ECC/SRM entries Visa transactions and petty cash.

  • Coordinate vendor communication and ensure contract and policy compliance.

  • Maintain inventory systems and support audit readiness.

  • Prepare and reconcile financial reports for oversight agencies.

  • Serve as liaison for banking and administrative matters.

  • Provide backup support for fiscal and administrative tasks as needed.
