Were seeking a dynamic ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to join our Healthcare and Life Sciences team at AWS Professional Services (ProServe). In this role youll have end-to-end responsibility for cultivating relationships with one or more of our largest most strategic HCLS accounts globally.
What Youll Do
Youll collaborate with executive customers to shape technology transformation programs including AI/Gen AI/Agentic AI transformation IT modernization and cloud migration. Success means earning trust with SVP and VP-level customers across Digital IT AI and key business functions then working backwards from their objectives to design ambitious programs and solutions.
Youll orchestrate a diverse ecosystem of partners to deliver exceptional outcomes:
- ProServe Cloud Architects
- AWS Specialists (including the GenAI Innovation Center)
- Amazon Partner Network Partners
- ProServe Delivery teams
Your success will be measured through revenue billable bookings team engagement and customer satisfaction (NPS CSAT).

Key job responsibilities
As an experienced services sales professional you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing strategic account plans with AWS Industries sales colleagues and aligned to the ProServe HCLS strategy
- Leading business development end-to-end for accounts in scope by cultivating customer relationships and shaping and advancing opportunities from origination through proposals contracting and delivery launch
- Innovating how ProServe delivers high value for customers through novel arrangement models and/or programmatic designs
- Sharing evolving customer insights and needs back with relevant AWS teams to inform our solution and service and ProServe priorities
- Monitoring active projects to ensure that ProServe delivers on agreed customer business outcomes (CBOs)

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with AWS Azure or Google Cloud technology
- 8 years of experience in technology sales or account management large cloud IT modernization and AI solutions and programs
- 5 years of Healthcare and Life Sciences experience in Pharma Medtech and/or Payer segments in North America
- Experience with sales targets sales methodologies and CRM systems
- Experience with communication presentation and negotiation
- Experience with C-level sales and strategic partnership building
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) or experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Knowledge of AWS services
- Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature
- Experience with AI/GenAI/Agentic AI
- Experience developing and closing large complex deals and innovating commercial arrangements

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments restricted stock units (RSUs) and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
