Healthcare Sales Director

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Healthcare Sales Director to lead marketing outreach and enrolment initiatives within a value-based healthcare organization serving seniors. This leadership role is responsible for driving census growth building strategic partnerships and overseeing high-performing sales and enrolment teams.

The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of the Newark healthcare market excels in data-driven decision-making and has a passion for improving access to care for vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Growth Leadership

  • Drive achievement of gross and net census growth targets
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and outreach plans
  • Identify opportunities to expand market presence and increase enrollments

Marketing & Outreach

  • Lead and coordinate all marketing outreach and community engagement activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key referral sources including:
  • Physician groups
  • Hospitals and post-acute facilities
  • Senior housing communities
  • Local organizations

Performance Management

  • Track and report key performance metrics (leads home visits enrolments conversion rates)
  • Manage team performance using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to analyze data and address performance gaps

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of professional experience including:
  • Healthcare sales or business development
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong expertise in Healthcare Sales Management
  • Experience using Salesforce and Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to work in a data-driven environment

Preferred

  • Experience in senior healthcare services enrollment or population health programs
  • Familiarity with value-based care models
  • Strong network within the Newark NJ healthcare market
