From design to production we utilize cutting-edge digital technologies to help our clients achieve their product development goals. You will be responsible for programming and operating a CNC machine to build tools using 3D models. Responsibilities:
Import manipulate and process 3D models.
Run preprogrammed machine sharpen drills & check tolerance
Use tools and machinery provided; program setup and operate the CNC machine using Lemoinesoftware.
Machine 2D features mold plates components cores and cavities
Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments/probe to ensure first time quality.
Complete checklists and report deviations from specified tolerances
Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions irregularities and continuing needs using provided paper and/or electronic logs
Assist in the repair of machine tools and parts as needed
Maintain safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Maintain the equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions initiating repair work orders etc.
Participate in required meetings and training as requested
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Three (2) years of related experience operating CNC boring mill and gun drill
Three (2) years experience programming CNC machines
Three (2) years of Lemoine software experience is essential
Ability to perform under pressure and work independently
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required
Ability to ensure quality standards are met
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong leadership interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
Proficient in time management and communication skills
Ability to work swing shift
