Job Summary
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Laser Cutting Machine Programmer / Operator with hands-on experience in laser cutting operations and programming. The ideal candidate will have experience with Trumpf laser machines be comfortable reading technical drawings and have strong measurement and inventory handling skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Program and operate laser cutting machines (Trumpf preferred)

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Set up machines and adjust parameters for different materials
-
Perform quality checks using verniers and measuring tools
-
Load/unload materials and handle inventory using a forklift
-
Maintain accurate inventory counts and material tracking
-
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
-
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and ensure smooth operation
-
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
-
Experience operating and programming laser cutting machines
-
Experience with Trumpf machines preferred

Valid forklift license
-
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Experience using verniers and measuring tools

Knowledge of inventory control and material handling

Strong attention to detail and quality
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with sheet metal fabrication

Familiarity with nesting/layout software

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
