Job Summary

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior CAD Programmer & LANTEK Layout Operator with experience in 2D/3D CAD systems such as AutoCAD or Inventor. The ideal candidate will support programming and nesting/layout for sheet metal production with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD Inventor or similar software
Prepare and generate LANTEK layouts and nesting programs for sheet metal cutting
Interpret technical drawings and specifications
Optimize material usage and improve layout efficiency
Collaborate with production and engineering teams
Ensure accuracy of dimensions tolerances and part details
Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
Assist with revisions and updates to existing designs

Requirements:

Experience with 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD Inventor or similar)
Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
Familiarity with LANTEK software (preferred)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or certification in CAD Engineering or related field
Experience with nesting/layout optimization
Exposure to manufacturing or fabrication environments
