- Greet patients and visitors with a customer service mindset
- Register patients in the practice management system.
- Confirm all appropriate paperwork and demographic information is correct.
- Collect identification and insurance cards copayments patient balances and have an understanding of medical insurance.
- Schedule and create appointments for patients. This includes over the phone in person and at check-out.
- Answer incoming calls make outgoing calls redirect calls check voicemails and answer messages.
- Receive packages to distribute mail letters make copies send or receive medical records send or receive referrals
- Answer incoming calls and provide patients with excellent customer service at all times.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy front desk reception area.
Qualifications :
- Work well in fast paced environments can multi-task and are calm under pressure.
- Efficient organized disciplined and able to complete tasks.
- Attention to details can use critical thinking skills & have a knack for problem solving.
- Strong communication & listening skills.
- Work well in a team and arent afraid to ask for help.
- Take ownership and use good judgment.
- You have a desire for meaningful work.
