This on-site contract position offers a unique chance to work in a vibrant medical practice environment providing top-notch care to patients.
In this role you will engage in a variety of surgical and clinical procedures enhancing the quality of patient care while collaborating with a skilled team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will be vital in performing complex surgeries and managing patient treatment plans in the fields of Otolaryngology and Plastic Surgery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Perform surgical procedures in Otolaryngology and Plastic Surgery
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Provide patient education on post-operative care and recovery
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Otolaryngology and Plastic Surgery
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Associate-level experience in Otolaryngology and/or Plastic Surgery
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florence
- Strong surgical and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Knowledge of current medical practices and technologies in the field
Schedule: Call coverage
Level II trauma center
Daily Volume: 5-6 consults
Procedures: Mandibles oribital floors lid lacerations
Facility: 500 beds
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible in ENT plastic surgery or oral surgery
