As a Locum Radiologist you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services and consultations. Your expertise will help diagnose and guide treatment plans for patients ensuring they receive the best possible care. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and interpret results
- Provide consultation on imaging findings and treatment options
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and imaging results
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in imaging
- Participate in continuous education and professional development
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as needed
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and practices
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Experience in radiology as an Associate is preferred
- Strong understanding of imaging technologies and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: 8:00a-4:30p
Required Procedures: Lumbar punctures barium studies various centesis exams
Support Staff: Nurses and techs
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Paid travel
