Description
This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced medical environment contributing to the health and well-being of the community.
In this role you will play a crucial part in the administration of anesthesia and the management of patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure safe and effective anesthesia practices ultimately enhancing patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and respond to changes during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations
- Provide post-anesthesia care and support to patients
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes
- Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology practices and technology
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Columbia
- Completion of residency in Anesthesiology
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and pharmacology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Previous locum tenens experience is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00a-3:30p

Cases: Cardiac orthopedic joint replacements vascular thoracic neurosurgery plastic surgery ENT urology ophthalmology
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Any state license accepted
