Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Applications Manager to lead our clients team responsible for application support and application development across the organisation.

Responsibilities:
- Lead mentor and develop the Application Support and Application Development teams.
- Allocate resources manage workloads and ensure high performance across the applications function.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement innovation and collaboration.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of business applications including ERP CRM HRIS finance systems and other enterprise platforms.
- Ensure applications are stable secure optimised and aligned with business needs.
- Manage upgrades enhancements and system changes in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Provide a unified view of all business applications and how they interact.
- Oversee integration architecture to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Evaluate and recommend integration tools middleware and best practices.
- Engage with business units to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead application related projects ensuring alignment with business strategy and ICT standards.
- Provide expert guidance on system capabilities limitations and optimisation opportunities.
- Ensure all applications comply with ICT governance frameworks security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation policies and procedures for application management.
- Oversee vendor contracts SLAs and performance.
- Contribute to ICT strategy particularly in the areas of applications integration and digital transformation.
- Identify opportunities for automation system consolidation and technology upgrades.
- Support the Group ICT Executive in long term planning and budgeting.
Key Skills:
- 5 years experience in application management software development or enterprise systems.
- Strong background in software engineering programming or system architecture.
- Proven experience leading technical teams.
- Experience managing enterprise level applications and integrations.
- Demonstrated success in delivering ICT projects and system improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
