The Role
Two exciting opportunities are available to work in either of the above Schools. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the implementation of School strategy regarding academic programmes including the development of administrative processes for learning teaching and student experience in the designated area. The role will also support the relevant school Senior Education Manager in delivery of the Education Strategy and Quality Assurance policies and procedures ensuring compliance with School Faculty and University regulations. The role holder will work closely with the Directors of Education and Directors of Student Recruitment in the School(s).

These positions are both open-ended and offered on a full-time basis (37 hours per week) with an immediate starting date. The roles are predominantly campus-based on the City Campus in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will be supporting key School activities relating to the Leading Edge Curriculum whilst leading and managing change in the Education team

Schools of Computing and Mathematics Statistics and Physics (1 post) Education Manager focusing on joint programmes across Computing and Mathematics Statistics and Physics (MSP).
The Data Science 2030 Programme (DS2030) is a phased approach at expanding and broadening our institutional offering in data science and artificial intelligence. The conversion programmes are currently being advertised with first student entry in September 2026. The successful candidate will be one of three Education Managers in MSP and Computing with this post leading on the new suite of taught programmes being developed.
