Position: Quality Manager (Clinical Professional)

Role Overview
The Quality Manager will be responsible for planning implementing and monitoring the hospitals Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure alignment with healthcare legislation accreditation standards and internal policies.
The role includes coordinating quality initiatives analysing performance indicators and supporting departments to achieve quality and compliance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain the hospitals Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure compliance with healthcare legislation and accreditation standards.
Drive Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes.
Monitor and report on quality indicators and patient safety data.
Conduct internal audits and support external audit preparation.
Investigate incidents and complaints ensuring corrective and preventative actions.
Facilitate quality meetings and track action plans.
Support managers with quality standards and improvement initiatives.
Promote continuous improvement and best practice across the facility.
Provide training on quality patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Role Requirements
Relevant healthcare qualification (Nursing Degree/Diploma or other clinical qualification).
Additional training in Quality Management advantageous.
Registration with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
35 years experience in healthcare quality or hospital environment.
Strong knowledge of healthcare legislation accreditation and quality methodologies.
Experience in audits data analysis and quality reporting.
Excellent communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
