This position reports to the :Chief Executive Officer.

The Purpose of the role:

Responsible for driving the growth retention and optimizationof TFSs e-commerce logistics ecosystem across South Africas landscape. This role encompasses the management ofBusiness Development Client Onboarding AccountManagement and Service Portfolio and Solutions the role involves developing innovative logisticsprograms and frameworks to strengthen seller and clientrelationships expand TFSs presence across industry verticalsand geographic boundaries and align the fulfilment solutionsteam with evolving supply chain needs and market demands.

Your responsibilities can include:

Strategic Team Building and Development:

  • Establish and build the Business Development ClientOnboarding Account Management and ServicePortfolio & Solutions functions from the ground up.
  • Recruit structure and provide foundational leadershipto create a high-performing multidisciplinary teamaligned with TFSs e-commerce logistics ecosystem strategy.
  • Design and implement comprehensive trainingframeworks to develop logistics solutions expertise andestablish best practices for the evolving team structure.

Market Entry and Logistics Expansion:

  • Identify and secure foundational partnerships with prominent retailers brands and e-commerce businesses seeking end-to-end logistics solutions.
  • Research and establish entry strategies for emergingmarket segments through strategic 3PL partnershipsand new service development.
  • Explore and build pathways for TFS's internationallogistics expansion through cross-border e-commerceand freight forwarding opportunities.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Framework Development:

  • Create and implement foundational strategies for clientacquisition growth and retention through innovativefulfilment solutions and operational excellenceframeworks.
  • Establish customer-centric programs and processes thatwill form the foundation for long-term logisticspartnerships and service portfolio expansion.

Service Portfolio Development and Revenue FrameworkCreation:

  • Build the Service Portfolio & Solutions function tooptimize logistics offerings and establish deliverycapabilities aligned with market demand and clientneeds.
  • Develop initial revenue optimization strategies andframeworks for tailored logistics solutions pricingmodels and value-added services.

Cross-Functional Partnership Establishment

  • Establish productive working relationships with TFSinternal teams to create end-to-end client and end-customer experience frameworks.
  • Create communication protocols and liaison processesbetween logistics clients and internal stakeholders toensure operational excellence from launch.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelors degree in economics BusinessAdministration or similar field. Advanced degrees areadvantageous.
  • A minimum of 7 years experience in e-commercelogistics management or related fields with at least 3years in senior leadership roles. (Focus on commercialmanagement of business partners)
