Key Responsibilities
Delivery as per Area Budget
Lead and set direction for the sales team according to budget covering delivery of Ocean and LNS volumes revenue growth and profit optimization
Coach and drive the sales team to sell and grow all products
Define and set targets for sales incentives together with Sales FBP
Business Target Management
Define and deliver changes to business targets based on market and asset view
Activate the Capacity and Campaign functions to formalize commercial plans
Customer Satisfaction
Actively monitor local NPS across segments and drive local initiatives to improve customer satisfaction for all local accounts
Stakeholder Management
Manage stakeholders across area regional and global functions
Actively provide feedback to product teams based on customer feedback and insights
Feed Business Development Managers with relevant leads
Team Development
Build and develop a world-class sales team
Ensure succession plans are in place for key roles including own role
Coach direct reports for success and development
Manage local and global engagement
Key Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Logistics Supply Chain or a related field
Minimum 710 years of experience in sales or commercial roles within logistics shipping or supply chain industries
Proven experience leading and developing sales teams in a matrix or international environment
Strong understanding of Ocean and LNS products and integrated logistics solutions
Solid commercial and financial acumen including budget ownership and performance management
Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance revenue growth and profitability
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into executable commercial plans
Excellent sales negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Ability to engage and influence senior internal and external stakeholders
Experience working closely with cross-functional teams at local regional and global levels
Strong leadership coaching and people development capabilities
