Reporting to the Director of Regional Operations the Property Assessment Services Regional Managers are responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of assessment services in their region. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing leadership training coaching and staff mentoring to achieve business objectives
Managing Human Resources functions including succession planning work planning performance management and employee growth and development
Ensuring quality and quantity of the assessment work within the region
Implementing improvement measures according to provincial standards procedures and Acts
Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and municipalities
The successful candidates will ensure team cohesion in co-located offices and make the employees experience a priority. As an ideal candidate you will be required to lead your teams effectively and efficiently through the continuous evolution of Property Assessment Services by maintaining a high level of adaptability and desire for change. As a proactive leader you will be customer-focused self-motivated and have a successful track record of delivering results and building relationships.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A university degree in Business Administration Engineering Surveying or a related field and a minimum of five years of related professional experience including at least two years of experience managing both financial and human resources (coaching work planning and review performance management and discipline). An equivalent combination of education training and experience may be considered.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate:
Property assessment related certification (CRA AACI MIMA).
Property assessment related experience.
Subject to the response to this competition candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications to be given further consideration.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The following operational requirements are also required:
This position requires some travelling within the province therefore candidates must possess a valid New Brunswick drivers license and have their own means of transportation.
Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.
