Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Human Resource)/ MBA-HRM
Job Purpose
To support the organizations manpower planning by ensuring timely recruitment of contractual manpower coordination of technical training programs for off-roll trainees and apprentices and facilitating compliance with statutory skill-development requirements. The role ensures smooth onboarding training execution documentation and coordination with internal departments and external training/contract agencies.
Job Description
A. Recruitment & Onboarding of Contractual Manpower
Collect manpower requirements from departments and prepare consolidated demand sheets.
Coordinate with manpower contractors for sourcing candidates as per skill qualification and experience requirements.
Screen profiles schedule interviews/trade tests and support departmental selection processes.
Ensure timely joining formalities ID creation requests and coordination for induction.
Maintain recruitment MIS: vacancy status daily/weekly joining updates contractor-wise manpower status.
Track contract labour attendance deployment and replacement requirements.
B. Technical Training for Off-roll Trainees & Apprentices
Prepare annual and monthly technical training calendars in consultation with technical departments.
Coordinate execution of training programsclassroom on-the-job safety and specialized technical modules.
Ensure availability of trainers training materials equipment and venue.
Track trainee/apprentice performance attendance assessment scores and certification status.
Maintain statutory compliance for apprenticeship programs (under the Apprentices Act / NAPS / NATS).
Coordinate training effectiveness evaluation and improvement actions.
C. Documentation & Statutory Compliance
Maintain complete trainee and apprentice recordscontracts stipend details assessment results completion certificates.
Ensure contractor compliance documentation related to recruitment (joining forms Aadhar KYC medical fitness PF/ESI details where applicable).
Support HR audits with updated records and timely submission of documents.
Prepare monthly HR reports on recruitment training hours trainee status and manpower strength.
D. Stakeholder Coordination & Support
Liaise with department HODs and supervisors to understand manpower needs and training requirements.
Coordinate with external training partners ITIs apprenticeship boards and manpower contractors.
Address grievances of trainees/apprentices and contractual employees and escalate issues when required.
Support HR initiatives such as induction welfare activities engagement programs and HR communication.
