About Allina Healths Mental Health and Addiction Service Line
Allina Health has a robust mental health and addiction service line offering the full continuum of care including outpatient and specialty outpatient care addiction and co-occurring services partial hospitalization intense outpatient and day treatment programs inpatient services consult psychiatry and more. The team spans across the organization and consists of more than 290 mental health and addiction providers dedicated to the highest quality patient care. The service line is provider led in tandem with operational leaders.
Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on an inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit to a diverse population
Develops behaviorally-focused outcomes-based treatment plans that address mental health functional impairment and co-occurring addictive or medical disorders
Consults with providers to assist with ongoing management of the behavioral health needs of their patients.
Required Qualifications
Licenses/Certifications
MD DO or foreign equivalency training required
BE/BC with completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency training
Completion of geriatric psychiatry fellowship preferred
Active non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges if applicable
BLS/ACLS required within 180 days of hire

Pay Range
Pay Range: $328400 to $339000 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to your experience education and the union agreement (if applicable).Benefit Summary
