Position Title: PeopleSoft Technical Lead

Position Overview
The PeopleSoft Technical Lead will coordinate all activities related to the client PeopleSoft Upgrade Project. This role requires strong leadership technical expertise and the ability to manage development teams and deliverables across multiple phases of the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and implement SDLC processes for all phases of the upgrade project
Define software development standards and controls; conduct technical reviews of work products
Group PeopleSoft objects into work units identify work packages and manage development estimates
Create project plans distribute work packages and oversee deliverables
Design and document new customizations based on fit gap analysis
Investigate and resolve software issues and defects; collaborate with technical analysts for solutions
Track overall project status risks and timelines; report to key stakeholders
Mentor developers and ensure quality across all deliverables

Required Qualifications

10 years of experience with multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools across HCM modules
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM applications (including Fluid and Drop Zone technologies) and PeopleTools v8.62
Hands on experience with PeopleSoft HCM modules: Recruiting Talent Acquisition Management Workforce Administration Benefits Administration NA Payroll Absence Management Performance Management Compensation Position Management
Proven track record of leading at least 3 major PeopleSoft HCM upgrades as a Technical Lead
Expertise in compare report analysis Keep/Drop decisions and functional design for customizations/interfaces/reports
Proficiency in PeopleTools PeopleCode Application Package Application Engine Drop Zones Event Mapping Workflow Integration Broker SQR
Strong SQL and PS/Query skills for troubleshooting testing and validation
Experience customizing COBOL stored procedures and developing complex interfaces with legacy/3rd party systems
Knowledge of STAT Tool Oracle and SQL Server
Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Report Distribution Tools (VISTA Plus LRS products)
Experience with enterprise wide large scale implementations
Oracle certification preferred
Familiarity with CA Scheduler Tool
Experience with NYCAPS system is a plus

Education
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required
