Job Summary

Job title: Lead Azure Architect Healthcare Cloud Migration (Hands-On)

Location: Daly City CA (Onsite Required)

Contract: Up to 12 Months

Start: Immediate

Role Overview:

We are seeking a senior hands-on Azure Architect to independently design and execute the migration of 200 servers from Rackspace to Microsoft Azure within a live healthcare environment.

This individual must assess the current state design the future-state Azure platform present architecture options (HA DR tooling security) to executives secure approvals and implement the solution onsite with the internal team.

This is an ownership role not advisory.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Azure landing zone (governance RBAC policies networking segmentation).

Implement Zero Trust security architecture.

Analyze healthcare application dependencies including integrations with Epic-hosted systems.

Design and present High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategy (RPO/RTO failover).

Define migration waves and lead technical execution onsite.

Establish centralized monitoring dashboards and operational visibility.

Recommend and implement migration backup and security tooling.

Required Experience:

Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred).

Proven large-scale Azure migrations (150 200 servers).

Strong healthcare IT experience (HIPAA environments).

Experience working with environments integrated with Epic.

Deep expertise in Azure networking identity security HA/DR and monitoring.

Strong executive communication and hands-on execution capability.
