Job Summary

This role focuses on identifying high-quality opportunities engaging prospects through structured and strategic messaging and converting qualified leads into meetings and long-term clients.

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Upwork profile optimization strategic bidding and client qualification particularly for AI ML Web and Mobile App Development services.

Experience Required

  • 1.52 years of hands-on Business Development experience on Upwork
  • Proven portfolio of Upwork profiles managed demonstrating:

    • Profile optimization
    • Strategic bidding
    • Consistent interview and meeting generation

Key Responsibilities

Upwork Profile Management & Optimization

  • Optimize and maintain Upwork profiles to improve visibility invites and response rates
  • Implement keyword category and positioning strategies aligned with Upwork best practices
  • Monitor and analyze profile performance metrics such as views clicks and Job Success Score (awareness level)

Lead Generation & Proposal Management

  • Identify and evaluate high-quality relevant project opportunities on Upwork
  • Write customized client-focused proposals tailored to client requirements and technical scope
  • Manage connects efficiently to maximize proposal ROI
  • Maintain consistency in proposal quality messaging and response rates

Reporting & Internal Collaboration

  • Track and report key performance metrics including:

    • Proposals sent
    • Client responses
    • Meetings/interviews booked
  • Maintain structured records using ClickUp or similar project management tools
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure proposal accuracy and alignment

Required Skills

  • Strong proposal writing and client communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of Upworks bidding and ranking system
  • Ability to qualify leads and identify high-intent opportunities
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
