Decklaration is a digital product agency helping startups and growing businesses transform ideas into high-impact web and mobile solutions through strategy design and development.
We are currently looking for a Business Development Executive on a part-time contract basis who will be responsible for generating qualified leads and bringing new business opportunities in the IT services domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through LinkedIn Upwork email campaigns and networking
- Research potential clients and reach out to decision-makers
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams to propose suitable solutions
- Prepare proposals quotations and capability presentations
- Follow up with leads and manage the sales pipeline
- Negotiate terms and assist in closing deals
- Maintain CRM records and sales reports
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing IT or related field
- 23 years of experience in business development within IT services or software industry
- Strong understanding of web development mobile apps and software solutions
- Experience working on platforms like Upwork Fiverr LinkedIn or other lead-generation channels
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated organized and target-oriented
Required Skills:
Requirements Must be residing within the UK Native English language skills Up-to-date knowledge of web technologies. Understands current learning theories. Comfortable using software such as Blackboard or WebCT to post lecture notes assignments and supplementary material for students. Solid tech skills and professional experience working with front- and back-end JavaScript for example React/Redux and Postgresexpect that knowledge to be tested throughout the interview process. Experience teaching adult learners or coaching/mentoring junior engineers is highly preferred. Ability to coach and mentor with empathy while holding learners accountable for their own development.
