Financial Reporting Manager, Hyderabad or Bengaluru

What Youll Do in This Role

• Lead international statutory audits by:
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements and disclosures in compliance with IFRS Ind-AS and local GAAP requirements.
  • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations identifying GAAP adjustments and addressing auditor queries.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to ensure smooth execution of audits.
  • Monitoring US GAAP to local GAAP differences and highlighting unusual variances.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to statutory deadlines with high-quality deliverables.

• Support strategic initiatives including:
  • Special projects such as M&A activities financial surveys ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests.
  • Preparation of tax reporting packages/ETR and assisting with tax filings.

• Act as a subject matter expert in IFRS by:
  • Providing technical guidance on complex accounting issues new transactions policies and reporting requirements.
  • Leading discussions on technical accounting matters with Big 4 firms globally.
  • Developing accounting positions and drafting technical memos/whitepapers for complex transactions.
  • Staying updated on new accounting pronouncements and serving as the teams go-to resource for technical matters.

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Skills

• Education & Experience
  • Chartered Accountant with 8 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Add on IFRS coursecertification will be plus
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm (audit or accounting advisory) is desirable.

• Technical Skills
  • Strong expertise in IFRS; working knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of statutory audit processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Workiva is advantageous.
  • Exposure to ESG/CSRD reporting is a plus.

• Professional Skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities with proven capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced high-growth deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
