Pay: $17$20 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday 8:30am5:30pm
- Support Lead Teachers in maintaining safe engaging and developmentally appropriate classrooms
- Step into Infant Toddler and Preschool rooms as needed to support staffing and daily flow
- Assist with daily routines including meals diapering/toileting transitions nap time and activities
- Engage children in play-based learning sensory activities and group experiences
- Help maintain clean organized and welcoming classrooms
- Build positive relationships with children families and staff
- Follow all Virginia childcare licensing and safety requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare experience is required
- Experience in a daycare preschool or early childhood setting strongly preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable flexible and comfortable working in multiple classrooms
- Must meet all Virginia childcare licensing requirements
