Job Summary

*This position will be remote from Mexico City or Monterrey Mexico*

Responsibilities:

  • New Customers: Expand customer base into new customer segments or adjacent markets including new channels to market.
  • Customer/Channel Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and channel partners. Develop programs to drive growth and accountability through the channel.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate opportunities for market expansion including new geographic regions and industry segments.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including marketing product development and customer support to develop convincing value propositions marketing collateral advertising opportunities etc.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new markets trends opportunities and areas for growth within the food processing and industrial markets.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop execute and oversee a strategic business development plan to achieve sales growth targets and expand Bettcher Industries market share.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through brand recognition lead generation and conversion networking and relationship building.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with the product and technical teams to create compelling proposals that address client requirements and showcase Bettcher Industries capabilities.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with clients including pricing discussions and contract terms to successfully close deals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years experience in business development sales or a related role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of the food processing industry and industrial markets in Mexico.
  • Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50%.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Track record of identifying market opportunities and putting plans in place to drive strategic business growth.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Displays a high level of critical thinking.
