Operational Leadership
- Manage daily operations across industrial facilities including office production manufacturing and test support spaces.
- Ensure seamless facility performance with a strong focus on reliability and uptime.
- Maintain fire suppression systems HVAC plumbing water tanks emergency generators and other essential infrastructure.
- Scope and oversee mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) work as facility needs evolve.
- Lead capital improvement projects from pre-construction and budgeting through execution and final handover.
- Collaborate with equipment owners to plan equipment moves and ensure utilities layout and workflow optimization.
- Own preventative and corrective maintenance programs aligning them to maximize asset life cycle and operational continuity.
- Manage maintenance budgets and drive cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain facilities SOPs and documentation.
- Utilize CMMS and ERP systems to track performance and compliance.
- Lead coach and develop assigned facilities staff.
- Manage external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and accountability.
- Partner closely with Environmental Health & Safety to maintain safe and compliant operations.
- Support the Workplace Manager as needed to ensure seamless facility operations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to foster a proactive customer-focused culture.
- Maintain a professional presence and lead by example.
- 5 years of experience managing day-to-day operations and projects within aerospace defense automotive or other manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience managing teams and vendors.
- Strong knowledge of asset life cycle planning and budgeting.
- Technical training in plant engineering maintenance or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with CMMS and ERP software systems.
- Experience managing preventative and corrective maintenance budgets.
- Hands-on knowledge of forklifts aerial lifts gantry cranes overhead cranes and hoists.
- Strong understanding of electrical hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Experience managing Environmental Health & Safety programs.
- Working knowledge of OSHA environmental regulations applicable building codes NFPA and NEC.
- Strong project management organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently drive projects and solve complex issues with minimal oversight.
- Commitment to 100% compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to respond to emergencies outside normal working hours.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential.
- Deep understanding of project and construction management processes.
- Experience supporting secure spaces.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
