Job Summary

Our client a leading organization in Maltas hospitality and leisure sector operates top hotels and a variety of restaurants including international and local brands. The group is known for its focus on quality innovation and providing memorable guest experiences across all properties.

The Role
We are seeking an Invoice and Payment Coordinator with a background in construction to join a dynamic team. This role forms part of an exciting new development in St. Georges Bay Malta which includes a five-star hotel luxury residences renowned restaurants and an upscale shopping mall.

Key Responsibilities

  • Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts.

  • Verify that quantities prices and terms on invoices match agreed terms.

  • Obtain necessary approvals from project managers procurement and finance departments.

  • Ensure approvals are in line with budget and project cost allocations.

  • Reconcile supplier statements with company records and resolve discrepancies.

  • Liaise with suppliers to address mismatches or disputes.

  • Prepare ad hoc reports as required by the Financial Controller.

  • Handle day-to-day requirements within the Accounts department.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in accounting.

  • O-level or A-level standard in Accounts is required.

  • Proven experience in a similar position within an accounting office.

  • Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.

  • Proficiency in English both oral and written.

  • Solid knowledge of MS Office particularly Excel and Word.

  • Excellent communication organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of Acumatica accounting software is considered an asset.
