mission! The Laboratory Technician performs tests experiments and analyses in a laboratory setting or
provides support for laboratory activities.

Duties & Responsibilities
Perform routine laboratory testing or laboratory support per Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs).
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
Manage inventory for required operating materials.
Ensure strict adherence to all Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Ensure strict adherence to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Management System
requirements.
Effectively manage all assigned tasks to ensure completion by established due dates.
Provide support for other laboratory areas and complete additional tasks as assigned.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated expertise in productivity software including Google Workspace (Docs Sheets
Slides Drive) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
Knowledgeable of laboratory safety chemical handling scientific concepts and analytical testing
equipment.
Attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a high-volume laboratory testing environment.
Basic skills in one or more of the following areas: spectroscopy mass spectrometry
spectrophotometry microscopy electrochemistry filtrations extractions gravimetry
metallography or chromatography.
Qualifications :
Required:
Associates degree or equivalent in Chemistry or related scientific field.
1 years analytical laboratory experience using state-of-art analytical instrumentation or
techniques
Preferred:
B.S. or B.A. degree in Chemistry or related scientific field.
3 years analytical laboratory experience using state-of-art analytical instrumentation or
techniques
