Job Summary
Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:533790) to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and a University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 15% of the basic salary.
Applicants should possess a Doctoral Degree or a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology Mental Health Psychology or other related disciplines. They should have (i) a track record of publications; (ii) excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese including Cantonese; (iii) strong problem-solving organisational and administrative abilities; and (iv) attend to detail with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team. Prior experience in conducting clinical research delivering and coordinating professional training and managing projects within the field of mental health-related research would be an advantage.
The appointee will work in the HKJC-funded project mental health project. The position offers an excellent opportunity for academic publications building research partnerships with international researchers and local mental health service providers and learning the implementation of a mega mental health research project.
