The HKU Kadoorie Centre
Founded in the mid-1980s through the visionary philanthropy of Sir Horace Kadoorie and Lord Lawrence Kadoorie the HKU Kadoorie Centre is situated near Shek Kong in Hong Kongs New Territories. The Centre takes a cross-disciplinary approach to address urgent challenges in agriculture energy systems water resources nature conservation and more. By integrating scientific knowledge at both regional and global levels the Centre drives technological innovation for addition to supporting scholars and students from the University the Centre places a strong emphasis on collaborative innovation with local and international academic communities advancing interdisciplinary solutions to complex global challenges.
The Role
The appointee willprovide all aspects of clerical support for the daily operation of the Centre supporting general office operations contributing to ad-hoc departmental events and perform any other duties as assigned by the senior. He/She will work on-site at the Centre located at Shek Kong and may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends and holidays.
