Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Information & Research Officer to join one of our clients a renowned international law firm based in Hong Kong. The role will work closely with the Head of Information & Research for the region to deliver exceptional information services.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for research enquiries from lawyers and business services teams
Conduct in-depth research on legal commercial sector-specific and client-related topics using a wide range of internal and external databases.
Support the creation and distribution of tailored legal and business news alerts to keep the firm abreast of market developments.
Promote the service offerings and train new and existing staff on best practices for using research tools.
Contribute to global team initiatives sharing best practices and manage all research queries

Qualifications Skills and Experience

A graduate degree is required; a qualification in information science or library studies is highly desirable
Proven experience in a research role within a professional or financial services environment
Essential attributes include strong research and prioritization skills for a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication abilities and fluency in English and Cantonese or Mandarin
Advanced technical skills and a broad understanding of legal and business issues are distinct advantages
