About The Payment Team

The Razorpay Payments team comprises some of the brightest minds in engineering product management product marketing design and analytics. We are the core team behind Razorpays payment suite which is the preferred choice for 8 million businesses in India. Together we are leading the innovation in building the best in class seamless and secure payment experience for customers and businesses alike. This team is working on solving some of the critical problem statements which impact the financial ecosystem of our country alongside regulators institutions and businesses. Job Summary

The PMM team at Razorpay is responsible for identifying new product innovation opportunities as well as maximizing the potential of our existing products. They are aligned with individual products and own them through the product journey. Responsible for the growth of the product aligned to company goals the PMM is expected to be the internal and external evangelist. They are responsible for launching the product as well identifying new avenues and opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Product Marketing Strategy: Own the local maxima for your product. Define and execute GTM for new launches and campaigns for driving growth.
  • Go-to-Market: Devise a go-to-market strategy to achieve overall business targets with cross-collaboration with sales marketing and product teams. Prepare compelling solution sales plays for multiple buyer personas solving for differentiated business needs. Drive teams with sales plays and GTM campaigns to achieve organizational goals
  • Market Landscaping and Research: Talk to customers conduct market research work with our product analysts and acquire insights that will deepen our understanding of target market segments and relevant audiences.
  • Product Evangelist - Act as an evangelist for your product internally and externally. Create brand awareness for your product in line with the Razorpay payments and overall Razorpay brand.
  • Optimize Across the Funnel: Work closely with Sales analytics Product and Marketing to continuously optimize and track the funnel for your products.
  • Product Innovation: Be on top of the voice of the customer as well as the happenings in the competitive landscape and the industry as a whole to include the product roadmap.
  • Enable User-Facing Teams: Enable and train the Sales Marketing and Customer Success teams by owning and driving the creation of collaterals content and demo. Enable sales and business teams with lead generation and industry fitments as well as through sales kits and various collaterals such as testimonials case-studies to better the conversion funnel

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in Product Marketing or Product Strategy
  • Exposure to Fintech and SAAS technology products in a strategy/marketing/product capacity is a plus
  • Skillsin navigating processes and experience in amajor industry (such as FSI Ecommerce B2C Internet First companies etc.) arepreferred
  • Ability to interact and understand executive management and C-Suite executives
  • Ability to independently lead and deliver on projects right from conceptualization to execution
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You are curious about metrics execution processes macro trends
  • You are ambitious and have a natural focus and bias toward outcomes
