Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the AI architecture roadmaps strategies and priorities to ensure quality scalable on-programme and cost-effective solutions aligned with evolving business needs
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders to identify translate and prioritise impactful and achievable use cases for the Corporations AI platform
- Collaborate with internal IT teams vendors and business users to drive and deliver AI and data-driven solutions while monitoring progress and outcomes
- Provide expert advice on transformational AI initiatives or proof-of-concepts to ensure alignment with corporate standards and long-term scalability
- Manage resources planning including training and talent development while fostering an innovative and collaborative work environment
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems or a related discipline
- A minimum of 12 years relevant experience of which at least 4 years should be at managerial level
- Professional certification in a related discipline is preferred
- Hands-on expertise in at least 2 of the following domains:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI): Experience with AI engineering across platforms (e.g. Azure/OpenAI Huawei AI Alibaba AI) familiarity with GenAI tech stacks and open-source tools and knowledge in areas such as AI memory orchestration monitoring & evaluation model layer security & governance and UI/interaction. Experience in digital product feedback loop management and model fine-tuning is preferred
- Application Development: Hands-on development skills in at least two areasbackend (Python Java) frontend/UI/UX ( React)
- DevSecOps (Azure DevOps) or data manipulation (Python SQL)with the ability to coach junior developers or independently build prototypes (e.g. GitHub portfolio)
- Data Engineering: Advanced capabilities in scalable secure AI platforms including distributed data processing (e.g. Spark Databricks) real-time streaming (e.g. Kafka Azure Event Hubs) data orchestration (e.g. Airflow Azure Data Factory) and data lake/lakehouse management (e.g. Delta Lake Snowflake). Proficiency in Python SQL cloud-native infrastructure (Azure AWS GCP) and familiarity with ML feature stores vector databases and semantic data layers
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills with proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
