Job Summary

Chevrons Business Support Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires is accepting applications for the position of Staff Augmentation Talent Advisor.Successful candidates will join the IT Organization which is part of a multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees that deliver business services and solutions to the corporation across the globe.

This role serves as a strategic partner and resource manager for external staff augmentation ensuring effective labor resource collaboration with the local Talent Site Lead the Talent Advisor works closely with IT preferred suppliers and departments to place and retain top talent deliver value and align with strategic priorities.

The Talent Advisor also plays a key role in developing local talent. This includes identifying skill gaps designing targeted development initiatives to build a sustainable and skilled local workforce.

Additionally they leverage technology data and workforce planning tools to anticipate future demand. This includes understanding upcoming projects identifying the types of solutions and skills that will be needed and proactively addressing talent gaps before they impact delivery.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Optimize talent mix and geographic distribution to maintain cost efficiency while ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Foster seamless collaboration across departments and suppliers to enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Meet business needs with high-quality resources through strategic partnerships that drive performance and value creation.
  • Design and implement initiatives to develop local talent and build a sustainable skilled workforce.
  • Anticipate future talent needs and proactively address skill gaps through demand planning and technology-enabled workflows.
  • Advise on staff augmentation strategies aligned with enterprise priorities and guide leaders on contractor management.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and oversee work orders rate negotiations and resource allocation.
  • Educate stakeholders on contractor governance processes and ensure data quality related to staff augmentation.
  • Collaborate with technical and regional leads to secure budget approvals and align sourcing strategies with geographic targets.
  • Influence strategic sourcing decisions and support internal capability building through tailored training programs.
  • Partner with educational institutions and community programs to strengthen the talent pipeline.
  • Forecast emerging skill requirements and align resourcing strategies with long-term business goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in IT talent acquisition or vendor management.
  • Familiarity with governance processes and compliance standards.
  • Exposure to regional delivery models and global talent strategies.
  • Ability to manage contractor conversion and headcount planning in collaboration with site leads.
